When i last met Seby , we discussed a host of issues….one of which was service based subscription models slightly higher in the pecking order than website counters, but largely self help tech that allowed webmasters to grow their businesses. It was then that he mentioned 37Signals to me.
I’ve been tracking 37Signals for a while, and though i haven’t subscribed to BaseCamp or any of their process mgmt software i have signed up for Ta-da lists. 
What rocks about their models are they’re based on increasing productivity and are so usable that they can give Google Products a run for their money. I’ve signed up for Ta-Da lists so that I can organise my to-do lists (read life) better….also coz i can syndicate data via RSS (one of my favourite pastimes these days) and work it out of a central location (read maediratta.com).
Am also hoping to test out BackPack sometime next weekend, so will post my review sometime in the next fortnight.
